Terms of Service
Effective from 29 September 2026

§ 1. General provisions
- These Terms set out the rules for using the Add My Task service available at www.addmytask.com and are issued under Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services.
- The Service is run by Kamil Kajzer (the “Provider”), contact: kamilkajzer@gmail.com.
- Terms used in these Terms:
- Service — the Add My Task web application for managing tasks on boards;
- User — a person using the Service;
- Account — a User’s individual account in the Service;
- Board — a space in the Service in which board members create and organise tasks;
- Board Owner — the User who created a Board;
- Board Member — the Board Owner and the people invited by Board Members;
- Project — a User’s private overview combining tasks from different Boards with a budget, stages and amounts;
- Content — any information entered by the User (e.g. board names, tasks, descriptions, Projects and amounts).
- Using the Service is free of charge.
§ 2. Type and scope of services
The Provider provides, by electronic means, an Account service under which the User may:
- create Boards and add, edit, move and delete tasks;
- view tasks from all the User’s Boards in a single list (with search and filters) and mark them as done;
- set task dates and view them in the Board calendar and in a calendar covering all the User’s Boards, with warnings about overlapping dates of the people assigned to tasks;
- set task locations, view tasks on the Board map and on a map covering all the User’s Boards, and arrange a route through the tasks of a chosen day or week, which can be opened in an external navigation app (e.g. Google Maps) or downloaded as a GPX file;
- archive, restore from the archive and delete their own Boards;
- create Projects: set their budget, group tasks from Boards the User belongs to into stages, assign cost or income amounts to tasks, view the budget summary and the stage timeline, and archive, restore and delete Projects;
- invite other people to Boards by entering their email address;
- assign tasks to Board Members and view the change history;
- see changes made by other Board Members in real time;
- manage the Account in account settings: change the username, email address and password, choose the avatar colour, upload and remove a profile photo, and delete the Account.
The Service is available in Polish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Turkish and Arabic — the language is chosen based on the country and browser settings, and the User can change it. Emails are in Polish. Translations of the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy are for information only — the Polish versions are binding.
Permissions on a Board:
- Board Members may add, edit, move and delete tasks, assign them to Board Members and invite other people — subject to point 2.
- Tasks created by the Board Owner may only be deleted by the Board Owner.
- The Board Owner may remove any other member from the Board. A removed person loses access to the Board, and their name remains on the tasks they were assigned to.
- The Board Owner may archive the Board and restore it from the archive. Archiving applies to all Board Members: the Board and its tasks remain available, but the tasks are not shown in the calendar covering all Boards or in the list of tasks from all Boards, and are not taken into account when checking for overlapping dates.
- The Board Owner may delete the Board after confirmation. Deletion is irreversible and covers all the Board’s tasks (with assignments and change history), including those added by other members, who lose access to the Board.
Projects:
- A Project is visible only to the User who created it. Other Board Members do not see the Project, its budget, stages or the amounts assigned to tasks.
- Only tasks from Boards the User belongs to can be assigned to a Project. A task may belong to at most one Project. Deleting a task from a Board (or the whole Board) also removes it from the Project.
- When archiving a Project, the User may also archive the Boards the Project’s tasks come from — only those the User owns (under the rules for archiving Boards described above). An archived Project may have active Boards.
- Deleting a Project is irreversible and covers its budget, stages and amounts; the tasks remain on the Boards.
- Budget summaries are for guidance only and do not constitute accounting records.
§ 3. Technical requirements
To use the Service you need:
- a device with Internet access;
- an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled;
- an active email address or a Google account.
§ 4. Account
- An Account is created by signing in with a code sent to an email address or with a Google account. When the Account is created, an agreement for the provision of electronic services is concluded for an indefinite period. After setting a password in account settings, the User can also sign in with an email address and password.
- The Service may be used by persons aged 16 or over. A younger person may use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- The User is responsible for securing access to their mailbox and Google account and for keeping their password secret.
§ 5. Rules for using the Service
- Providing unlawful content is prohibited, in particular content that infringes the rights of others, is offensive, or incites violence or hatred.
- Only people who expect such an invitation (e.g. colleagues, family, friends) may be invited to a Board. Using invitations to send spam is prohibited.
- Any action disrupting the operation of the Service or attempting to access other people’s data is prohibited.
- The username and profile photo must not infringe the rights of others (including image rights and copyright) or contain unlawful or offensive content. Only photos to which the User holds the rights may be uploaded.
- The User is responsible for the Content they enter into the Service, including the username and profile photo.
§ 6. Reporting illegal content and point of contact
- The point of contact for Users and for authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 — the Digital Services Act) is kamilkajzer@gmail.com. Contact is possible in Polish or English.
- Anyone may report content they consider illegal by sending a message to the above address. The report should include: an explanation of why the content is illegal; where it is located (e.g. the Board and task name); the name and email address of the person reporting (except for reports concerning child sexual abuse offences); and a statement that the person reporting is acting in good faith.
- The Provider confirms receipt of the report, handles it without undue delay in an objective manner and informs the person reporting of the decision.
- If the Provider removes Content or restricts access to an Account, it will inform the User together with the reasons. The User may appeal against this decision by writing to kamilkajzer@gmail.com.
§ 7. Complaints
- Complaints about the operation of the Service can be sent to kamilkajzer@gmail.com.
- A complaint should include the Account’s email address and a description of the problem.
- The Provider handles a complaint within 14 days of receiving it and replies to the email address it was sent from.
§ 8. Deleting the Account and terminating the agreement
- The User may delete the Account at any time with the “Delete account” button in account settings or by requesting it by email. Deleting the Account terminates the agreement.
- Together with the Account, the Boards owned by the User are deleted — also for the people invited to them — as well as the profile with the profile photo. On all other Boards the User is removed from members and assignments, and their history entries are anonymised.
- The Provider may terminate the agreement with 14 days’ notice for important reasons, in particular if the Service is discontinued. In the event of a serious breach of these Terms (e.g. providing unlawful content or sending spam), the Provider may block or delete the Account with immediate effect, informing the User together with the reasons.
§ 9. Liability
- The Provider makes every effort to ensure that the Service works continuously and correctly, but interruptions may occur, e.g. due to maintenance or failures of providers. We recommend keeping important information outside the Service as well.
- The Provider is not responsible for Content entered by Users, subject to the obligations described in § 6.
- Maps, address search results and distances (measured in a straight line) are for guidance only. The base map and address search use OpenStreetMap data, and navigation takes place in external apps (e.g. Google Maps), for whose operation and accuracy the Provider is not responsible.
- These Terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
§ 10. Personal data
The rules for processing personal data and using cookies are described in the Privacy Policy.
§ 11. Changes to the Terms and final provisions
- The Provider may change these Terms for important reasons, e.g. changes in the law or in the Service’s features. Users will be informed of changes in the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. A User who does not accept the changes may delete the Account.
- These Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence.
- Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, e.g. the assistance of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski lub powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów).
